Benjamin's First Month

Our first month with Benjamin has been a great blessing with plenty of ups and downs. He is so strong and can lift his head and kick his feet like a pro. He is so content most of the time, except when he is naked. Unfortunately, his mommy is broken so for the first month, he was losing weight instead of gaining it because he was not getting enough calories from me. We took him to the doctor last friday and he was only 7lbs and 4 oz which was much less than when he was born. The doctor gave us some special weight gain formula to try with him along with the breast milk. When we went in for another apointment yesturday, he was already 8lbs and had grown an inch. Needless to say, I was ecstatic, but unfortunately this means that we have to do formula and breast milk. I am so grateful that it worked, though and that I am the one with the problem and not little Benjamin. He is the most amazing and the cutest baby ever, I could just stare at him all day. I feel that I have been so blessed with this wonderful child and I already know that he is very special. These are a few pictures that we took during his first month.

I have been so blessed in my life. First with the perfect husband and now with the perfect child. I can't believe that I have been trusted with this wonderful little boy. He is absolutely amazing. He can lift his head and kick his feet and he mostly sleeps through the night. He is so content all of the time and has been perfectly healthy thus far. He really is so perfect and being a mom has by far been the best thing that I have ever done.

My New Job

I have recently become an Avon sales representative. My work is entirely commission so I am going to need some help to get started.
